Cooperative Doctoral Program in Nursing

The Doctoral Program was established in April 2016.
The Program of study in the Cooperative Doctoral Course in Nursing is formulated in cooperation between the Japanese Red Cross Kyushu College of Nursing and four other Japanese Red Cross College of Nursing, in Hokkaido, Akita, Toyota, and Hiroshima.
The Cooperative Doctoral Course in Nursing can provide not only face-to-face group and individual education but also distance education using a fiber optic network dedicated to the Japanese Red Cross Academy, through which education by instructors in other graduate schools is available.
The program enables students to achieve quality learning outcomes through education by instructors from several disciplines.

Offering laboratory offices dedicated to graduate school students, our college has create an environment in which graduate school students from variety of specialized areas in nursing an actively interact and converse with each other, while learning together making use of a substantial library collection and improved web systems.

To train researchers who have the advanced research abilities required to conduct research independently

To train educators in nursing who can implement high-quality nursing education in a cultivated manner with senses of flexibility and vision, and encourage them to develop skills for education-related development, the implementation of education, and problem-solving

To encourage doctoral students to develop perspective points of view and teaching/coordination skills so that they will be able to fulfill the roles of leaders in practical, clinical nursing, and educational settings
4.
To encourage doctoral students to develop the skills required in the fields of health, medical, and welfare care in Japan and other countries.
