The Japanese Red Cross Kyushu International College of Nursing is committed to prepare nurses who save lives and comfort agonized people under the name of humanity which is the core philosophy of the Red Cross.

As this college claims “international”, we are dedicated to educate students to be eligible to engage global humanitarian activities. However, humanity crisis is everywhere including here in Japan. I, as a president of this college, expect students being sensitive for any humanity issues surrounding their daily life in addition to paying attention to disasters and conflicts around the world. In order to acquire such sensitivities, I encourage students to read many books, to interact with many people, and to watch a variety of arts. This college is located in a place with traditional Japanese culture symbolized by historical world heritage Munakata shrine and peaceful nature. In such a blessed environment, this college nurture students as well as faculty members to learn and evolve all together.
